Because good things come in 3s, I would love for you to join me in a Fundraising Party of Three, to honour and celebrate 3 things:
1. The ACT Caritas Fundraiser event for Caritas’ Women for the World. Caritas’ mission is to end poverty, promote justice and uphold the dignity of women in the world. I'm raising funds to support the mission so please head to this fundraising page now make a donation: https://www.womenfortheworld.org.au/ninagbor.
2. The launch of my new initiative Eco Styles. I'm using this opportunity to rebrand as Eco Styles, an endeavour which closely aligns with Caritas’ values. I will also be launching my new website on the night. The focus of Eco Styles will be to promote sustainable fashion in a way that advocates for poverty alleviation, primarily for the garment workers who make our clothes - 80% of them are women.
3. To celebrate 3 years in Australia! It has always been my dream to work in Eco Styling and to advocate for social justice, female empowerment and international development. I'm therefore, very pleased that I’ve been able to pursue these goals here in Australia. I will be happy for you to join me in celebrating this milestone. There will be cake!
If you can't make it to the party, please feel free to make a donation instead to Caritas through the donation link: https://www.womenfortheworld.org.au/ninagbor

ABOUT CARITAS AUSTRALIA
Women represent the greatest proportion of people experiencing extreme poverty around the world and are at a greater risk of experiencing violence and human rights abuses. Many women remain marginalised and are unable to participate fully in their societies. Caritas Australia works with 129 programs in over 29 countries globally as well as with First Australian communities to improve the economic and social participation of women and girls in their communities. Find out more about Caritas’ work through Janaki’s story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=YME5R076XPM
What your donation can do:
$500 could build an energy-saving stove for a family, which uses less firewood to conserve the natural environment in Malawi.
$100 could provide 15 female farmers with vegetable seeds, so they can grow sustainable food in Nepal.
$300 can provide 30 days worth of food for a woman staying in a domestic violence shelter in Timor-Leste.
$570 could provide two days of training for health centre staff so they can share new knowledge about childhood nutrition with local communities in Cambodia.
$1400 can change the lives of 10 women who have left a domestic violence shelter by engaging them in various small business activities for one year in Timor-Letse.
I’ve always believed that women are crucial to healing and making the world a more harmonious, progressive place. This is why I’m so passionate about uplifting and empowering women. Whether it’s women in the west or women in developing countries, we all have so much potential to add to the ennoblement of our communities and indeed the rest of the world.
Please join me in empowering women who have limited access to any form of support. Our financial aid will provide these women with the chance to end the cycle of poverty in their lives, the lives of their children and their communities. You can help in 3 ways:
1. donating here
2. buy a party ticket
3. come to the party!
We know that good things come in 3s, so I’d love for you to do all three! All ticket sales and proceeds will go to Caritas Australia. See you at the party!
