We’re building a local group of activists here in Western Sydney to stand in solidarity with women around the world fighting for justice and equality.
This event is part of ActionAid Australia’s #TransformTradeforWomen campaign to stop the Australian Government from signing the dodgy Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) trade deal – which will prioritise corporate rights over women’s rights.
During the event, we'll have letters available for you to sign. These will be posted to our local politicians to encourage them to rethink signing this deal unless its negative impacts for women in our region are addressed.
